This series came about during my first semester of art school. I felt the pressure of altering my thought process to be artistic in every aspect. It was a matter of finding a subject or landscape that truly meant something to me.

The beach depicted in these photos has much significance to my life- it simultaneously represents my history and my life as it changes, just like the ocean.
